Herons Llŷn Farm is a multi faceted micro farm where we focus on high quality wool production, sustainable land use, and creating farming systems that work for the land as well as the people on it.

Our flagship yarns are handspun and hand dyed with natural dyes using a blend of wool from our sheep and occasionally blending in wool from other New England producers.

Our class and instruction side of the farm focuses on textile art education, everything from handspinning to indigo tie-dye (shibori) to how to plant your very own natural dye garden.

The second thing is that our new embroidery kits are now in stock. Ive been working on designing, spinning and dyeing up a spring native flower series. Each kit comes with everything you need to complete the project, which includes embroidery wool, the pattern printed on its linen, needle, hoop and instructions. Keep your eye out for more spring native flowers!
